Terminating Aluminum Conductors
WAGO spring clamp terminal blocks are suit-
able for solid aluminum conductors to
4 mm²/12 AWG WAGO “Alu-Plus” Contact
Paste used for termination.
• Prevents fresh oxidation the clamping
point.
• Provides long-term protection against cor-
rosion.
It also possible apply WAGO “Alu-Plus”
additionally the whole surface the alu-
minum conductor before termination.
• Prevents electrolytic corrosion between
aluminum and copper conductors (in the
same terminal block).
Please note that the nominal currents must
be adapted the reduced conductivity of
the aluminum conductors:
