to IEC 62561-1. This corresponds test class N.1: Critical situations include structures containing sensitive systems, office and commercial buildings or
places which large number people meet.
Components for conductors along which the lightning
current can spread (at least two arrestors) and con-
nections the earthing system are tested with Iimp
50 (10/350). After a
conditioning phase lasting days, the components
are impacted with three lightning strikes. This corres-
ponds test class H.
