Down-conductors are the part the external lightning
protection system designed route the lightning cur-
rent from the air-termination system the earthing
system. The
number conductors derived from the scope of

conductors are required every case.

Care must taken ensure that the current paths
are short and installed without loops.
The conductor system routes the lightning current
