Description:
Cold amalgamating insulating tape made from polyisobutylene, with easy pull off plastic separating layer.
Special features:
Amalgamated after processing under slight tension form solid airtight and waterproof rubber layer,
extremely expandable (elongation break 600%) and able adapted any form, permanently elastic,
compatible with all materials for insulation and sheathing, wide application temperature range, very good electrical
properties (in particular dielectric strength), resistant UV, ozone, weather and ageing, not silicone-free. 2840 2841, however additional excellent
resistance very high and very low temperatures (–35 +95 °C, short-term 130 °C) well to
many chemicals, for demanding insulation tasks kV/mm and for the retention the chemical resistance at
increased temperatures.348
