Fuseless
The converter design does not require any
medium voltage power fuses, which are
known unreliable, costly and subject
to aging.
Long-life capacitors
Electrolytic capacitors, which have poor life
expectancy, are not used the ACS 1000 and
ACS 1000i.
Power loss RideThrough
A special feature DTC its ability ride
through short main supply voltage interruptions
so that most cases the process not affected. The use of
IGCTs results low parts count, providing
an efficient and reliable drive. Advanced, environmental friendly,
rapeseed oil-filled foil capacitors, designed for
a long lifetime, are used instead.
