Stripping tool for shielded cables
With the Weidmueller stripping tool, very easy
to disconnect the insulation conductor and then apply
the shield. This does
mean risk ground loops forming. However cable shields
and steel conduits should grounded both sides,
despite the risk, todays EMC regulations require this.262 3029140000

the same way, shields two-sided signal conductors should
be grounded both sides.
If shielding used protect against electrical fields, it
is advisable ground one side only.Application

To protect against possible interference effects alternating
magnetic field bilateral Hang unavoidable. Then the tool pulled lengthwise
over the conductor and the insulation cut off. The insulation the conductor first separated
over the circumference.
The illustration shows the resulting pattern. Finally,
the insulation cut the other end over the circumference. Shields analogue
signal conductors should, for example, connected one
end. The insulation can cut any point the
conductor.
