and steel conduits should grounded both sides,
despite the risk, todays EMC regulations require this.
Stripping tool for shielded cables
With the Weidmueller stripping tool, very easy
to disconnect the insulation conductor and then apply
the shield. Then the tool pulled lengthwise
over the conductor and the insulation cut off.
If shielding used protect against electrical fields, it
is advisable ground one side only. The insulation can cut any point the
