2 A. Testing
The following tests shall carried out where relevant and should preferably made the
following sequence:
- continuity protective conductors and the main and supplementary equipotential
bonding;
- insulation resistance the electrical installation;
- protection separation circuits;
- automatic disconnection supply;
- polarity test;
- electric strength test;
- functional tests.c.
b) between each live conductor and earth.
The test methods described this chapter are given reference methods; other methods are
not precluded provided they give less valid results.
2.2 Insulation resistance the electrical installation
The insulation resistance shall measured:
a) between live conductors taken turn two two;
Note: practice, this measurement can only carried out during erection the installation before the
connection the appliances.VERIFICATION ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION

- neutral and protective conductors identification;
- presence diagrams, warning notices other similar information;
- identification circuits, fuses, switches, terminals, etc.
Notes: TN-C systems, the PEN conductor considered part the earth. recommended that the test carried out with supply
having no-load voltage d. During this measurement, phase and neutral conductors may connected together.3.

- adequacy connection conductors;
- accessibility for convenience operation and maintenance., and with minimum current 0.
9.3.3.
In the event any test indicating failure comply, that test and any preceding test, the
results which may have been influenced the fault indicated, shall repeated after the
fault has been rectified. a.1 Continuity the protective conductors, including the main and
supplementary equipotential bonding
A continuity test shall made.
