Following measures are applied electrical equipment fulfill above mentioned
principles:
- protection provided enclosures,
- proper installation protective conductor,
- proper installation electrical equipment.
The type protection covered this system classification follows:
1) protection persons against access hazardous parts inside the enclosure;
2) protection the equipment inside the enclosure against ingress solid foreign object;
3) protection the equipment inside the enclosure against harmful effects due the
ingress water. Degrees protection provided enclosures (IP Code)
The European Standard 60529: 1991 and ČSN 60529: 1993 describes system for
classifying the degrees protection provided the enclosure electrical equipment.
IP Code coding system indicate the degrees protection provided enclosure against
access hazardous parts, ingress solid foreign objects, ingress water and give
additional information connection with such protection. CONSTRUCTION ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND

Electrical installation and electrical equipment shall provided with regard safety of
persons and property and shall protected against external influence, against harmful effects of
