There are activities connecting with testing and certification products. These requirements are specified these Act and technical regulations. particularities they are specified harmonized standards.
A producer importer may place specified product the market only after the
assessment the conformity this product.

According the Act, the producer and importer obliged place the market only

Act No. Products shall comply with requirements
concerning their safety. The compliance the product with this regulation deemed fulfilled
when complies with standards harmonized with the technical regulation. Sometimes obligatory
to let the product test independent and authorized testing laboratory, sometimes not
necessary nevertheless could advantageous for the producer support its own declaration
of conformity the product with the certificate independent authorized entity. 22/1997 brings folloing definitions:
product any thing that has been manufactured otherwise gained and intended placed
on the market,
technical regulations legal regulations published the Collection Laws the Czech
Republic which includes technical requirements for products related mandatory
production, checking, recording and other administrative procedures,
standards documents created according this Act and marked with letters „ČSN“ publication
