Crimping Tool
Insert the ferruled conductor into the crimping station.
Ferruled conductor cross-sections specified for WAGO
products are based this crimping method.
What “gas-tight” connection?
In gas-tight connection, the conductor and the ferrule
are compressed, eliminating all spaces.
Crimping tools with built-in ratchets are recommended,
such the WAGO Variocrimp tools.
Oxidation between crimped single conductors prevent-
ed, virtually eliminating the possibility any increase in
the crimped connection’s resistance.
