This symbol indicates the surface tempera-
ture luminaire. They are
designed that the event ballast
fault, flame-retardant and normally flamma-
ble materials specified DIN 4102 cannot
be ignited, e. period transition was agreed that
allowed the mark applied until
01/08/2005. vertical surfaces, 150 °C
must not exceeded.
The luminaire mark was withdrawn in
1999.
The Umark limits the temperature to
90°C max. Since 01/08/1998, theUmark
introduced 60598 has been applied. The materials may painted, veneer
