Cut the cable sheath radially approximately from one end and the mark the required length (scratch the corrugated steel tape!) Break the steel tape those points with care.

Heat the cable-end with gas burner with industrie-dryer.

Open the cable sheath means the ripcords (vertical the cable) long you need.

Remove the cable sheath carefully.

Grip the ripcord and pull them the required length. Remove the short end attaching longitudinal cut.
Attach radial cut, with cable stripping knife, approx.
2. Cut back the sheath, glass armouring, ripcords and the strenght members.
Lay open the ripcords.
4. Grip the ripcord with screwdriver.
Remove the cable sheath and the strain-bearing elements.
