Discharge the tools and yourselfby touching earth (ifyou
are not earthed).
Mark the cables from the thyristors with L1, and L3. Note the result
Repeat the tests the two remaining phases between Figure B
3L2 4T2 and 5L3 6T3. Look for values, which are not line with the majority the thyristors, 2T1
showing lower value.
Set the megger 500V.
Connect the megger the main terminals the softstarter
1L1 and 2T1 according figure Note the result.
Then you are Ready for start!!

Disconnect these six sets cables form the HV-board. There are different instructions depending both type and size of
softstarters.
If you need change thyristor thyristor block, please look the separate instructions for
changing thyristors.
Please also check that all other cables, for the temperature sensor, fans etc.
An analysis the test result from all three phases will show you have shorted ,
thyristor not. are position, properly
connected (they may slide off during handling the plastic top).
Mound the plastic top back position and finally, reconnect all control cables and the main cables.
