Edison’s desk, located today the
center the library, was large roll-top with overhanging pigeon holes and
document slots. the early 1900s, least one other rolltop desk was
photographed the library. Their installation date is
unknown. Photographs taken 1912 show single
very wide shade the windows the south end the room, facing onto
Lakeside Avenue.

in.

Edison’s cot, currently tucked away alcove the east wall, features
prominently Edison lore. Edison’s naps were well known; had the ability to
