storeroom wall was moved back few feet where extended out encompass a
telephone booth and the booth was removed make broad corridor that led to

At some point after 1916, the stairs leading down from the second floor were
enlarged and turned degrees landing above the first four steps. wider

Major changes were made the first floor entrance area during this period.379 1927 two portable vestibules were set this
area: one the library entrance and one the machine shop entrance.
The other major change this floor was the creation three offices the
northwest side the stock room.380
