A.5 TIMER Timer function
Timer function allows verify Timer features safety testers and megaohmmeters. Disconnect M191 output terminals using the button OUTPUT ON.
4.o. Select HVR mode pushing repeatedly FUNCTION FUNCTION DOWN button until HVRlabel
appears the display. Usetestleads deliveredwith
UUTsforhighertest voltages. Green LED starts light.
M191 starts measure test voltage and current.
G. Select resistance range UUTif necessary.

I. the test
voltageis over Voandattempt change theresistance isregistered, calibrator doesnot disconnect theoutput
terminals andshows errormessage “Err2 Set voltage bellow !”. M191 calibrator measures the test voltage and display both test voltage and current. Calibrator can measure
time interval for what the UUT test voltage presented the calibrator output terminals. Insteadofthis “Err1 Toohigh
test voltage! ”isdisplayed. Setupresistance not changed.
H. Activate UUT measurement, typically pushing button the UUT.Test current displayed only when output terminals are ON. Compare UUT reading M191 set resistance.
In Timer function calibrator automatically connects the output terminals resistance value 100 MO. Confirm the value by
pushing the appropriate unit button kQ, MQ, TQ.

- Accuracy. Use only test leads with guaranteed isolation according test voltage
range UUT. Calibrator displays accuracy selected resistance point %. the test voltage is
higher than the limits TableII, calibrator does not execute the ONcommand. Use test leads delivered with UUT whenever possible.

Before the output terminals are switched ONstate, calibrator measures test voltage. Decrease test voltagebefore continue. Enter requested resistance value using either numerical keyboard rotary button.
Notes:
Testleads deliveredwiththe calibratorareapprovedforapplication upto5kVDC. The value
cannot modified. Select requested test voltage level UUT. Test current not displayed when set
resistance higher than 300.
