Operating procedure
A. During the
measurement the calibrator goes automatically through sequence statues: OFF, STANDBY, RUNNING, OFF. Select requested test voltage level UUT.Test current displayed only when output terminals are ON. Calibrator displays accuracy selected resistance point %. Decrease test voltagebefore continue.
E. UUT starts source test
voltage.
F. M191 calibrator measures the test voltage and display both test voltage and current. Use test leads delivered with UUT whenever possible.5 TIMER Timer function
Timer function allows verify Timer features safety testers and megaohmmeters. Usetestleads deliveredwith
UUTsforhighertest voltages.o. Use only test leads with guaranteed isolation according test voltage
range UUT. Calibrator can measure
time interval for what the UUT test voltage presented the calibrator output terminals. Connect output terminals the M191 pushing the button OUTPUT ON. Select HVR mode pushing repeatedly FUNCTION FUNCTION DOWN button until HVRlabel
appears the display.
M191 starts measure test voltage and current. Confirm the value by
pushing the appropriate unit button kQ, MQ, TQ. the test
voltageis over Voandattempt change theresistance isregistered, calibrator doesnot disconnect theoutput
terminals andshows errormessage “Err2 Set voltage bellow !”. Insteadofthis “Err1 Toohigh
test voltage! ”isdisplayed. Setupresistance not changed.
B. Disconnect M191 output terminals using the button OUTPUT ON.

Testleads deliveredwiththe calibratorareapprovedforapplication upto5kVDC.

Don't changesetresistance value when test voltageabove Vois connectedtotheoutputterminals, see tableII. Select resistance range UUTif necessary. Enter requested resistance value using either numerical keyboard rotary button.
