DIN VDE 0110-1 states the principles for specifying the clearance and
creepage distances well for determining other criteria.
The following are the major criteria for determining the minimum clearance
distance:
- Rated voltage
- Degree pollution (limited)
- Inhomogeneous/homogeneous field
- Overvoltage category
4.6.6 Voltage Clearance and Creepage Distances
The manufacturer should specify the rated voltage for every connector. This
