Bus termination
Han-Brid® designed device interface with one male and one female
connector for incoming and outgoing lines.
The data lines can terminated either:
- implementing the connectable resistance network within the circuit of
the device or
- using the terminating connector
A terminating connector plugged into the spare connector the device,
at both ends the bus segment. The Han® housing includes bus-
terminating resistance network and galvanically isolated DC/DC converter,
which supplies power the resistance network. Using the active terminating
connector eliminates the necessity modifying the circuit the device
when inserting the resistance network
