The data lines can terminated either:
- implementing the connectable resistance network within the circuit of
the device or
- using the terminating connector
A terminating connector plugged into the spare connector the device,
at both ends the bus segment. Using the active terminating
connector eliminates the necessity modifying the circuit the device
when inserting the resistance network. The Han® housing includes bus-
terminating resistance network and galvanically isolated DC/DC converter,
which supplies power the resistance network.
