If ‘Live Data' the ‘Home' page not displayed (greyed out), the laptop/PC comms and the therm eter comms have synchronised. Click the ‘Install Configurator' tab open the ‘InstallShield Wizard'. Follow and confirm the ‘Wizard' prompts install the software. This allows thermometer configured from laptop PC, via RS485 connection. From the ‘Comms' drop-down menu (see Fig.2

These instructions detail how install and use the Windows Configurator Software. Click the ‘Software and Utilities' tab. The ‘Home' page displayed default (see Fig. ‘485 Settings' sub menu) set the following: ‘Serial Port' (serial port connecting laptop/PC and thermometer, default set ‘1') ‘Baud Rate' (data transfer rate between thermometer and laptop/PC, default set ‘57600') ‘Address' (the designated thermometer number series, default set ‘1')
When all three ‘485 Settings' are synchronised between laptop/PC and thermometer, the dynamic ‘Live Data' then displayed. Access the Resource Disk ‘Main Menu'. 32). Double-click the icon the ‘Desktop' initiate the Configurator software.
