1915 Adolf Dätwyler founded the company and began producing electrical conductors using aluminium. Daetwyler Cables presented FloorLink, the economical cabling system for elevator shafts. International expansion: Daetwyler entered the Chinese market. optofil® Safety became the first metal-free fibre optic cable with E30 functional integrity per DIN 4102-12.
