Putting into service
6.1 eneral s
- Check tightness the power connections the circuit-breaker terminals
- Carry out all the preparatory operations the release
- Make sure that the value the auxiliary circuit power supply voltage between and 110% the rated voltage the electrical applications
- Make sure that there adequate air circulation the place installation avoid overheating
- Also carry out the checks specified the following table.
Carry out the operating tests.
The circuit-breaker closes correctly.
The springs are loaded correctly.
Close the circuit-breaker.
S upply the undervoltage release the
corresponding rated voltage and carry out the
circuit-breaker closing operation.
Disconnect voltage the release.
The geared otor stops with the springs
loaded.
The signals are correct. Carry out some circuit-breaker closing
and opening operations. Interlocking
devices between circuit-breakers side by
side and one top another (if any)
10 For withdrawable circuit-breakers: racking
-in/out device
P re
Carry out some opening and closing operations
(see the chapter 7.
CAUTION
When there undervoltage release, the
circuit-breaker can only closed after the
release has been electrically energized. Supply the undervoltage release the
corresponding rated voltage (if any).
The locks function correctly.
The circuit-breaker opens.2).
Racking-in operation: the circuit-breaker racks
in correctly. Attempt circuit-breaker
closing operation.
Carry out some racking-in and out operations.
Insertthe auxiliary contacts suitable signalling
circuits. The first turns the crank handle
do not meet with particular resistance.
The circuit-breaker closes correctly.
S upply the undervoltage release the
corresponding rated voltage and carry out the
circuit-breaker closing operation.
