Inserts are moulded parts with insulating properties (also called insulators or
contact blocks) they have specially formed chambers for inserting contacts.

The standard DIN 60999 termination materials specifies reliability
requirements for screw terminals and screw-less terminals for electrical
copper conductors.
Contacts are either mounted permanently loaded into the chamber and
held position means integral retention spring.
