HARAX®M12-L crimp terminal
ALSTOM Transportation Company has chosen the Han®
range answer most their needs waterproof connec
tivity for the “CITADIS” trams.
To complete the scope internal connections, ALSTOM has
qualified the M12 crimp technology connect the various
subsystems board (ticketing, passenger counting).
The main objective was harmonize the connectivity solu
tion while reducing the variety connectors. Thanks the diversity Han Modular® Range our
connectors are used large variety power applica
tions, for example the use the Han® 100 module the
safety circuits the Han-Quintax® module that has been
designed ensure connectivity MVB FIP and more
recently ETHERNET Networks.Our connectors tra
ditionally were used applications with the Han DD®
range and its high density contacts offering space sav
ing. ALSTOM has
selected Han® (IP 65) and Han® HPR (IP 68) housings.
As conclusion, ixing several media the same hous
ings, ALSTOM has rationalized their connectivity systems
while keeping the same external design whatever the ap
plication.
